I wasn’t going to blog about this one as it’s pretty straight forward but after the flood of messages today about where I got the rack, mugs, spray paint etc. I thought I should blog about the details of this pretty Anthropologie inspired copper mug rack!
A while back, one of my favourite designers ( Liz Marie Galvan ) did something similar beside her stove. I stored it in the back of my brain and knew that in the future, I would recreate something similar. Except with a much lower price tag.
I grabbed this rail and these hooks from Ikea and I already had the spray paint.
I used this spray paint I got from Home Depot a year ago. It is called “Hammered Copper”
It took two coats of spray paint to cover the rail and hooks and then I let it dry for about 4 hours so it wasn’t tacky anymore.
