One of the amazing things about living on Vancouver Island is that some people don’t realize that vintage things are cool, on the other hand.. everything seems overpriced so maybe I’m not winning after all? ( haha )
Last week I came across two free old vintage rugby lockers. They were in the free section of Craigslist and my heart was literally beating faster than it possibly could because I mean, FREE!? Turns out, I was the only person who thought they were cool as we couldn’t pick them up for two days, and they were still somehow available. We only picked up one as I only had space for one, but gosh y’all. It’s the PERFECT piece for our rustic/industrial office. I couldn’t have dreamed up a better piece.
We will be putting some fresh cut cedar shelving in it, along with some baskets to soften it up and some greenery, maybe a wreath and I want to also DIY some wooden candlesticks for the top. But I just had to jump on the blog and show you how cool this thing is. vintage locker
We shoved it between the window and the banister and it fits perfectly, I think there is like 6 inches of clearance. vintage locker
If you know me, you know I love all things beat up. I love items that have real distressing because they tell a story. You can’t ever buy that kind of stuff in a store.vintage locker
I’ve been kind of trying not to show my office progress on Instagram, but I showed our DIY’d desk the other day because I have no patience at all. So far the office hasn’t cost us a dime and I’m getting so antsy to do a reveal and show off the few brands that helped it make the space amazing. vintage locker
So without further rambling, here is the awesome Vintage Locker that we happened to snag at the beginning of the week. There’s a ton we want to do to it as mentioned above, but I’m enjoy the simplicity of it right now. What do you think?
Today I’m preparing for my second transfusion and I can’t wait. No,not super excited about getting another IV jammed in my arm, but I’m excited to feel even more human tomorrow!

She shoots! She scores! What a fabulous find. Looks fantastic.
Glad you are feeling a bit stronger with your IV.
