Hey Guys!
I feel like instead of jumping on here and saying that it’s been a long time since I last blogged, how about we make this the new norm? Being a mama of four under 8 is amazing but it’s kicking my butt and I rarely have time to pee alone, so to pound out an entire blog, that’s a rarity.
This office has been a work in progress since the day we moved in. But I didn’t really start to put any elbow grease into this office until January. I had a vision for this office. I wanted it to be a bit different from the other areas of our home, yet still be full of farmhouse charm. I finally decided on an Industrial Farmhouse Office.

This room started off getting a full paint job. We were pretty lucky to have Benjamin Moore send us over two gallons of “Alabaster”. It’s one of my go to colors. The creamiest white ever. This was also the same white in our master bedroom in our last home. Eventually when I can catch my breath, we’re bringing the white into the rest of the living room, but for now we just did the office.
The white really makes the space. I know some of you really dislike white. But when the shade is chosen properly, it really looks amazing and makes a space feel that much brighter and chic – even on gloomy days!
As you can tell from the two photos, it’s a pretty big contrast in style. Still I pulled some of my farmhouse favourites into the space. But I wanted it to feel more industrial and fun! Industrial Farmhouse Office
On the left of the room you can see a pretty sweet looking locker. This was a free score on Craigslist. It adds so much character to our space and I cannot believe we grabbed one. Right now it’s just holding decor, but eventually we will be making it into a bookshelf.
