You read that right; our master bedroom is getting a makeover! I love designing and creating new spaces, but our home is only 1,300 square feet, so it puts me in a bit of a pickle!
I’ve loved our master bedroom, but I’m looking for something more simple. We’re going to be taking down our existing board and batten, painting the walls Chantilly Lace from Benjamin Moore and putting wainscotting on the wall behind our bed. I would do our entire room if it weren’t so costly!
This is our current bedroom, and it’s so cozy. We installed this board and batten in here a year ago. The current colour is Sketch from Sico Paint. I love this colour, but I want a plain white wall to be more creative with colours in my room. I’m pretty minimal, so even having the half wall of board and batten feels busy!
Below is my mood board for our new room.
We already have the side tables and bench. I will be getting that photo above the bed printed through ABC Printing and Signs, and the lamps can be found here.
Follow along on my Instagram as we’re in the process of building this bed. Pretty nervous as I have high standards, so if it doesn’t look pretty close, I’ll be disappointed.
