Happy Monday Friends! Can you believe that Easter is almost here? I feel like this year has flown by. Every year I get older, the faster it goes.
I also wanted to say a HUGE thank you for all your kind words in the last day!
Today I wanted to share with you our new beautiful blinds from Blinds Galore. They have a Canadian site as well as a US Site and they make such beautiful high end window furnishings!
I wanted something a little beachy and laid back for our bedrooms so I went with the Bali Natural Shades.
In our bedroom it’s not only cordless but also motorized, so with a click of a button we can open and close our blinds. How cool is that?! Also, I know I say this in every single blog, but please ignore the old heater and slightly discoloured ceilings – this home is a work in progress.

For our bedroom we picked “Trinidad Owl” as it has grey tones in it and I thought it went really well with the colours we already have in there. It’s so beautiful and really makes the window look so much more high end!

In the Nursery we picked a darker shade as we are doing a few changes in this room and with those changes, the darker shade will match.
The nursery shade and the boys shade are cordless. So you pull down to cover your window and push up again. I like this option because I’ve always had a fear of kids strangling themselves with the cords – so I think this is awesome that Blinds Galore offers this!

For the Nursery I went with “Driftwood” and for the boys room I went with “Whitewash Trinidad”

Also, please ignore how dark it is in their room right now, I had to over expose the photo as it was very dark in their room today.

Since we just moved in 8 months ago, we are slowly making the home look like us. There are so many changes I would like to make, but I’m slowly picking away at each room.
Blinds Galore currently has some awesome sales going on the website, so make sure you hop on over and check them out! 33% off all products and an additional 20% off Blinds Galore products!

I absolutely love your light fixtures! Would you be so kind and share the links or where you purchased them? Thank you!
