Hey Guys! It’s finally here, my Spring Home Walk Through. If you’ve been kicking around for a bit, you would of seen my Holiday Walk Through, here.
It’s honestly so much fun to see my home change through the passing seasons and I love inspiring you guys to use salvaged, vintage and cheap finds to create a beautiful space!
So without further rambling.. lets start, shall we?
As you first enter my home, I have a bench on the left side which honestly doesn’t get used. It’s more for looks but is kind of a catch all for all of our jackets. I recently painted it black and I’m loving the contrast to the rest of the space.
and off to the right I have my favourite salvaged wood corbel shelf. This is basically a catch all for keys, wallets and mail, but it sure makes it look good!
and then if you turn right, you’re in my living room! Our Living room is the perfect size. It’s small-ish, but that is my game. I love a good cozy room and honestly I get a bit overwhelmed when I have to fill big spaces.
This space has literally been brought to life over the past few weeks since we got our new sectional from Structube. The warm Carmel colour really warms up the space (Which it totally needed as the white fireplace and cool grey tones of the wall make it airy. )
The funny story about this stump is it’s my moms. Two Christmas’s ago she made me husband and brother roll it (water logged ) across the highway to her house. It’s been sitting in her heated garage ever since. I swindled her into letting me take it and I’m just praying she forgets about it. It’s the perfect piece for this space!
and then there’s my new coffee table. If you want to read the story on this piece, here’s the blog. But can you guess the cost of it?
and since I JUST got my new rug in the mail today, I had to snap a few more photos of it in my space. I LITERALLY CANNOT. This rug from Loloi Rugs is a show stopper!!
Basically as you can tell, the living room is the star of the show! But let’s change rooms and head on over the the dining room!
The half salvaged half live edge dining table my husband built. It weighs probably over 400 pounds, but it’s my favourite. The top has cracks from time all throughout it and if you look closely at the edge of the table, you can see how the live edge curls under. We paired it with these salvaged legs from an antique table and I painted the entire thing white.
Our little teeny dining room only can fit a 5×3 table, but it’s my favourite ever. On the right wall we have a set of six fern botanicals and then on the left wall we have a large round modern mirror and a 5′ fiddle leaf fig we named ‘Lola’.
Our six chairs fit perfectly in this space and these chairs are also from Structube.
and on to the Kitchen! In this room I didn’t document a ton as it isn’t beautiful. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a lovely kitchen. But my designer dream kitchen would be all white and full of natural light. So instead, I’m going to show you a few shots of my favourite parts of the kitchen.
My new Anthropologie inspired mug rack, you can find the DIY here.
Once you’re through to the kitchen my den and laundry room are there, but those will be left to your imagination. Sorry guys 😉
On the other side of our rancher are the bedrooms. The furthest right is the boys bedroom. Their room is usually a pig sty, but I managed to snap this photo of their little dwelling.
and there room isn’t 100% completed, so let’s move on to the Nursery. Brinley and Rhett share a room so it’s tight tight tight. But we’ve managed to make such a big impact in their little space.
and lastly… the master!
and because you guys seemed to be obsessed with my bathroom, here she is.. in all her glory!
