Decorating After Christmas
Happy Monday Guys. I wanted to chat with you guys about Ways To Make Your Home Cozy After Christmas because I’ve heard so many of you complain about how empty and “cold” life feels after taking down all the cozy layers of decor, the pretty lights from the Christmas tree & being left with a blank slate. I do agree, it can be depressing when it is first all taken away. After cleaning all weekend, I realized that we’ve made our home so cozy without having the Christmas decor & tree lights. It’s all about textiles, layers and having something you can fill the empty walls with.
I don’t know why, but I’ve started to love Mondays. They’re fresh & new. I normally have a list of things for the week I need to get done and I love starting to tackle it. Call me weird, but Monday has become a fresh start for me.
I’m the kinda gal that is addicted to textures. I love different blends of fabrics, different shades of whites and creams and when all compiled together, it is so cozy. If you’re a minimalist at heart, don’t fret, I am too. There is a way to cozy up your space without having stuff all over. Yes, I’m not a fan of too much decor or decoration, it makes me feel claustrophobic. But if that’s your thing, you do you girl.
