Guys. Today was a whirlwind. For someone who lives in the real world, loosing an Instagram account wouldn’t be as big of a deal, but since I run my life on social media and really all my income stems from my blog, Instagram and Facebook, I was pretty panicked.
After sending Instagram a ton of messages and receiving no replies after almost 24 hours, I finally sent one to Facebook, and ironically enough my account came back online within 10 minutes.
But lets talk about the best faux farmhouse plants.. because I have had a lot of questions about where I get my plants. Not only do they look authentic but they also are super cheap.
Something I’m super into right now is lambs ear. it’s light, and has a fuzzy light green hue. I’ll be adding all the links in the bottom of this post so you can go & buy these plants too. I’m telling you guys, artificial plants are the way to go. You can’t kill them & they look real!
I personally have the this sage bush and I’m totally in love with it. It looks small in the photo, but it’s quite a nice size. It looks completely real & I love the base it’s in, very antique and distressed.
I also have these lamb ear stems. I actually have them all over my house. They’re so cheap & look real. Even to the touch they feel real. You can also bend the leaves to form them how you want. I’ve had them in vases, olive buckets and now some of them are in my big wooden planter.
Did you know that they did a study and having even FAUX plants in your home brings your serotonin up? Isn’t that crazy? Just looking at something green boosts your mood.. which I find incredible and I mean, I guys it just fuels my love for faux plants. I literally kill anything living, minus my kids.
Another plant that I luuuuuurv is my little Olive tree in a little cement bucket. It’s one of the first faux plants I ever bought. I still haven’t killed it – haha!
For a full list of all the plants that I love, see shopable links below. I have over half of these plants as they’re just so pretty and authentic looking.
