Happy Tuesday! Just popping on quick today to share about my wall sconces that I just hung! Are you guys starting to feel the hustle of Christmas yet? It’s my favourite time of year. I have the majority of my decorating done and now I can just relax and focus on the season.
This morning I finally hung these sconces in my living room beside our photo collage. These sconces are awesome because not only are they hardwired but they also are plug in, so if you don’t have wiring but want the look of sconces, you can use them as wall lamps!
Y’all know that I’m partial to wall lamps.. I think I have them in almost every room of the house. They take up no space, but look super cute. For this room we always have such trouble with lighting and it being too dark. Also the arms of this sofa come up a bit higher, so I struggled to find a trendy modern lamp that would look okay.
These sconces totally fit the bill and they give off so much light. Also, if you’re like me and you don’t look having bright light glare at you in the eye, you can adjust the lamp to point towards the wall. there’s 3 different areas you can adjust the configuration of the lamps.
If you’re a cord nazi, these type of lamps might be better suited for behind a headboard or side table so you can hide the cords. For us, we NEEDED light in this part of our living room, so we’re living with the cord look.
For this brand, I went with the “Antique Brass” Colour. But if you’ve seen the wall lamps in our twin room, they’re a flat black and I love that variation too!
We also have some gold sconces in our kitchen which I’ll be featuring in a few weeks. I like to play musical chairs with all my decor and I just move it from room to room. HA!
