Hey friends! I’ve been a busy little bee since I hit “Silver” in Young Living. It’s like a light bulb went off and I’m starting to take my business seriously. Don’t be sad, I haven’t forgotten about all you devoted readers. I just made a choice to start posting more quality content instead of blogging almost every day. But today I decided to create my own rendition of a vintage book wall.
We live in a world where inspiration is hitting us at all sides and being on Instagram is no different. I first saw this amazing book wall done by Erin at Cotten Stem Interiors and my first reaction was “ew”. I didn’t like how busy it looked.. flash forward a few months and I was starting to really fall in love, so much so that today I decided that I wanted to create a book wall in my entrance!

I mean, everything about her picture is perfect. But my favourite part of this entire room? Hands down, the bench. We are in the progress of building or finding a salvaged bench for our entrance as I recently brought the pew that was in our entrance into our dining room. It looked way too good to move it back.
Here’s my rendition of my “Vintage Book Wall“, keep in mind, the bench is going once I find something better.
These vintage book wall speaks to my heart. They are books that my Grandma and Grandpa were given as kids. I actually have a big pile of them that I use for decor and I took the 3 books that were falling apart and created some art of them. I mean, it’s a lot more personal than throwing the books that were loosing their pages in the garbage.
and there you have it. My project for the day. I so badly needed to turn my brain off and spend time designing. Sometimes my creativity gets plugged up in my brain and I can’t think or do much to save my soul. Now that’s it’s unplugged I’ll be a lot more efficient in the real world. E-Design clients, I’m specifically talking about you!
Let me know in the comments what you think about this feature wall, and of course.. pinning my images is welcomed HEAPS.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today!
