- Deck Makeover – Part Two

2. Easy and Simple DIY Bench

We have a REALLY small entrance and nothing every seemed to do it justice. Since we have such a small entrance we needed something that had big impact, but also had storage and this super easy DIY Bench fit the bill! Click here for a full DIY on this bench.
3. Sage Front Door + Board and Batten

On the other side of our entrance we had this blank wall. We decided to do white board and batten halfway up the wall with a shelf to display small vases and vintage art and we made our own peg wall. Click here to see tips on how to paint a exterior door too!
4. DIY Modern Wood Mantle

We made the shelving on either side of the fireplace as well as the hallow and cheap DIY Modern Mantle. This project has gone nuts on Pinterest with almost 27,000 shares! Click here to read the full blog.
5. DIY Artwork For Free

I was loving the brush stroke walls that have been showing up all over the Internet, but I didn’t really feel it was my vibe. I decided to use one of my old pieces of art and create this piece of art out of it for free. Click here to read what I used to make this free art.
6. One Room Challenge – Laundry Room Makeover

This laundry room was pretty unfinished and honestly depressing when we moved in. We decided to give it a fresh coat of white paint, put board and batten on the lower half of the wall and put peach decals on the top part of the wall. Click here to see the full before and after.
7. How To: Aysmmetrical Wall

Even though this wall was taken down shortly after we did it as I felt it wasn’t “me”, it still became somewhat popular on Pinterest with almost 5,000 shares. If wanting to do an asymmetrical wall, this blog is for you.
8. Industrial Shelving In The Bathroom

These shelves cost under 20 dollars a shelf and the best yet – they can be easily DIY’d in any room of the house!

All the posts I’m sharing from now on will have a much higher original share count, but again, switched programs. This blog continues to give me a ton of traffic. I originally wrote it in 2016 and took some botanicals and put them on the inside of a vintage window
14. Toddler House Bed DIY

We made Brinley this bed right after she turned 1. ( over 4 years ago ) It served her until she was 3.5 and then we moved her into a twin bed.
It was so simple to build and the cost is under 40 dollars!

We made this DIY Kids Clothing Rack for Brinley four years ago so she could hang her dresses and girly things. It went viral with over 18,000 shares on Pinterest.
16. DIY Rustic Ladder For Under 7 Dollars

This was one of the first blogs in the first 6 months of me blogging ( almost 5 years ago ) wood prices were a little cheaper back then. But here’s how you can build a ladder for super cheap. I’ve built many myself!
17. Raised Garden Bed – The Easiest Way!

I’m actually not sure how this blog gained so much traction because it was super straight forward and the pictures weren’t that pretty – I guess lots of people wanted to learn how to build garden beds in 2016!

This one legit has me scratching my head. It’s such a straight forward DIY and I don’t get how it’s gained over 90,000 shares on Pinterest. about 25% of my traffic comes from this blog.

This one was quite popular almost fives years ago. We build the boys this adorable house bunk bed out of pine. Although, my colour combinations were quite questionable.

And lastly this bench was featured by Ana White, The Rogue Engineer, Hometalk and many others. It had upwards of 50,000 shares!
