If you guys have been around here for any time at all, you will know that we’ve had A LOT of sofas. Part of my job is marketing for brands and I’ve had the privilege of working with some amazing brands.
Thing is, just because a brand is popular and a higher price ticket, doesn’t mean they have quality furniture.
Through a lot of trial and error, I’ve finally landed on our DREAM sofa.
We’ve owned our sectional from Kavuus for roughly over three months now and it hits ALL THE NAILS ON THE HEAD.

Just as a little disclaimer. I am working with Kavuus, but they did not ask me to write this blog and it’s not sponsored. I’m writing it as I’ve gotten so many messages about our sofa and chairs and I truly, HONESTLY TRULY, love them so much.
They’re the best quality furniture I’ve ever owned. Plain and simple.
This sectional is the “Aim” in Ivory Lace. When you check out the colour on their website, you will be able to see it looks a lot different in real life. It looks way more warmer/brown on their website. Honestly, I really prefer how it looks in real life!

The best thing I love is that the sofa has clips on the underside to keep the cushions on. We once owned a sofa and the bottom cushions would always slide off and it always DROVE ME NUTS. So this is a huge plus in my books.
Third, the back cushions and bottom cushions are over stuffed. It’s a bit harder to get the covers on when you wash them ( YAY for washable covers ) but they don’t look frumpy. There is nothing worse than a sloppy looking seat!

The only thing I will say is that the colours do look a bit different in person. But they do offer free swatches, so I would recommend ordering those prior to placing a big order!
When we ordered our sofa and thought it was more of a cream, but it’s more on the grey side. But we’re so happy with the colour.

And then with our chairs, they’re also from Kavuus. We have two and they’re in “Walnut” and “Caramel Leather”. I will say, these look a lot different in real life. I was expecting much lighter wood and lighter leather but I think they still look incredible in our space.
We also had some light blue covers made which I can’t wait to feature soon!

I think the chairs add a nice pop of colour in our space. Here’s a link to the chairs I purchased.

I hope you guys have the best weekend and let me know if you have any additional questions in the comments!

Your home is so stylish and inviting. I am absolutely in love with your chairs. For years I have been looking for the perfect armchair to complete a reading nook in my plant room and I think I’ve just found it!
(Had almost decided to have a vintage Scandinavian design chair reupholstered but the wooden frame might be too frail as it seems to have been out to weather the Canadian elements for a while…)
Your article links to the Plank armchair but it seems to me that your chairs look more like the Vega chair on the Kavuus website. Am I correct in assuming that you got them with “regular walnut legs” and “caramel brown vintage full top grain leather”?
Love the look of this sofa. I don’t see the options for the legs you have though, or maybe I’m missing it? I’m hoping that this couch checks all our boxes because we’ve been looking to refresh our living room. The couch is such a big part of it!
I love your plank armchair too. Can you give a review of the comfort? They look great! Wondering how they feel and how they have held up.. 🙂
Thanks so much for all of the beautiful inspiration.
