Hey Guys!
I thought I would jump on today and share about our white painted side tables. You all know that I painted them pink, here. But honestly, I hated them. Yes, there are some projects I do that I’m not happy with in the end.
Today I finally decided to paint them & I say ‘finally’ because I’ve been putting it off for a month now. I have no idea why, but painting furniture isn’t my jam. The process is kind of exhausting. You have to give them a light sand, wipe them down, paint them and then varnish or wax them. Maybe call me lazy? But I do it frequently because I like the end result!
PS. these candles from Noah & Co are my absolute favourite. She makes these sweet little care boxes for women who have recently lost a baby or basically any female going through a hard time. You can purchase them directly off her site and send them to someone who needs it. She sent me one a little while ago and it was full of bath salts, bath bombs, scrub and candles.
When painting these side tables I rolled them to minimize painting time and then I took an old rag and waxed the tops.
I also added three more knobs. When they were painted pink they just had one knob in each drawer, down the middle. Hot tip: if ever wanting to move where you have your knobs, get some wood filler and put it over the holes as you would with dry wall past on walls. Let dry, sand & paint over.
You can’t even tell there were holes there!
I mean, these side tables HAVE seen better days. We’ve had them for over two years and they’ve been stained, painted three times and moved a few times. Someday I would love to get some big chunky wood tables in here, but for now, they do just fine!
Let me know what you think of the new modern white painted side tables. Are you like me and just keep changing things up?
