1950’s Farmhouse Home Tour
Hello & thank you for your interest in our home.
We moved into this sweet as pie farmhouse in september 2014. It was built in the 1950’s and has been renovated since. We have also done some upgrades to it such as new floors in the entrance, kitchen & bathroom. New appliances & fixtures and we painted the cabinets in the kitchen. It has been such a treat to live here as we’ve mostly only lived in brand new developments. It’s always rewarding to upgrade something, or do a DIY project and feel the accomplishment of upgrading your home. If you have the chance, I highly recommend to move into a “fixer-upper”!
Enjoy our mini tour and always check back for additional photos as I’m always changing our home.
The living room is by far my favourite rooms in the house. It’s bright, airy and cozy. Growing up my mom had a amazing country farmhouse style. It was cozy and home truly was the best place to be. Now as I have my own family I want us to do life in our home. I of course want it to be beautiful – but cozy! I’m a minimalistic at heart, so you won’t find a ton of clutter in my photos.
Having a little girl after two boys was such a surprise, we really thought we would have three boys. As soon as I found out we were having a girl, everything had to be pink. Pink overload. Prior to Brinley being conceived I don’t even think we owned anything pink – including clothes! As you can tell she’s a princess living in a very girly room.
