I hope you all had a lovely Easter. This Easter, as for many of you, looked very different. We typically go to church on Good Friday and partake in family gatherings all weekend long.
This year, looked completely different.
I will be honest and say that I was dreading this weekend. The thought of not seeing any of our extended family really saddened me. But in reality, this weekend has been the best Easter.
We spent this weekend making memories with our little family and it was slower and more conscious.
I’m about to fall asleep with cider in hand after a very long day praising Jesus, doing an egg hunt for the kids, making eggs benny for brunch and a big ham dinner tonight, but I wanted to say that if you’re having trouble in finding the silver lining in this all, look small.
Sometimes the biggest joys are in the things we overlook every single day.
Happy Easter, from our family to yours.
