Hello from the other siiiiide, I must of cried a thousand tiiiimes.
Just Kidding…
But in reality, I’m doing allll the DIY’s during our social isolation. We are on day 10 of being inside and away from people and I’ve made use of our time!
I wanted to share with you my easy black side tables as they’ve made such a huge different in our room.
Now the quality of paint you choose does matter. Since we aren’t going out, I called around different paint stores to find out if any of them were doing curbside deliver, sure enough, Sherwin Williams was – SCORE!!
I normally purchase a flat black, but the paint specialist assured me that what I wanted was an enamel eggshell. I’ve never painted with it, but you guys, the finish looks like I bought them this way. So worth it!
Below is a photo of the paint can so if you like the look of my side tables, you can order the exact same colour/finish.

I did two coats, but this paint has amazing coverage so if you’re distressing after, you can get away with one.
To get a really professional finish, you want to use:
-Painted Paint Brush to get in cracks
-Small Microfiber Roller/Pan
I haven’t sealed my side tables and dresser yet, but honestly, this paint is pretty durable.

I also spray painted the knobs gold but fro some reason they’re showing up as silver on the photos. Not sure why!
The combo is dynamite and I’m super happy with them!
