Capsule Wardrobe [ My Staple Pieces ]

I’m anything but stylish and I’m totally okay with that. I’ve grown up on Vancouver Island and although it’s been amazing - I would call my style very laid back and beachy. I own under three dresses and nothing overly fancy & I don’t own heels. That being said, I love my style. I love how laid back it is and how you can dress some pieces up or down.

I’m basically going to give you the low down on my style and share my key pieces that I always reach for. Being a mom it’s hard to walk the line of being frumpy but not looking like you’re trying to hard. Ya know?

Before you all judge me for my awkwardness in photos, I purely took these photos so you can see how cute these pieces can be!

So first up, may I introduce you to the sherpa jacket? I didn’t think I needed one. AND I was totally okay with passing by this trend, but my hubs got me this one for Christmas and I’ve worn it almost every day. I wear it with my jammies when I drink my coffee in the morning - or wearing jeans as seen below.

Next up is my favourite gold jewelry from Made By Mary With Love. I literally own so many pieces from Sidney and every pieces is made so well - they also don’t tarnish. I wear my necklaces for months on end without even taking them off to shower and they don’t show wear.

In these photos I’m wearing my necklace with my four kids initials stamped on and my other necklace that says “Inhale + Exhale”.

Next up, I love me some good Old Navy pieces.

My good friend Addy got me hooked on these cozy joggers from Old Navy and I have them in the pink and black. For sizing reference, I’m wearing a Large. I’m also wearing my FAVOURITE T from Free People. It’s the “Catalina Long Sleeve”. I got mine from Finders Keep Hers, She’s local to me, but she ships everywhere! I also have the Catalina in a mustard colour too!

You basically need these joggers. So comfy!

Next up is my fav jeans ever. You see me wear them constantly. I love them so much, I have them in black and well as a frayed edge too! I’ll link them all below. The top is I believe called the Weekender from Z Supply. I got it at Finders Keep Hers - they always have them stocked! It’s so cozy. I have the front tucked in, but you could also wear it with leggings an it would cover your bum and hoo-ha! 😉

annnnnnnd, my favvvvvv oversized sweater. This one was a close call y’all. Glen accidentally shrunk it in the dryer. It literally shrunk up like 4 sizes - but then I rewashed it and stretched it out and the world become better. PS, not mad at him because he was doing laundry for me and honestly, most men don’t.

This is from “Wishlist” but you can’t buy Wishlist from many places. I bought it from a local store in town.

and lastly, this Free People Top I also grabbed from Finders Keep Hers. It’s the “Tangerine T” It’s so cozy and has thumb holes!
