As we are nearing Christmas day I’ve decided that my home won’t be receiving any further decorating. This year I went pretty low key and I’m slowly turning our home into a white farmhouse wonderland. In the new year we will be painting the walls off white and I’m excited to slowly paint away the very colorful walls.
I always like to mention that my teeny little rug isn’t here to stay, but our other 8×10 rug that we had was dark grey and made our room look like a dungeon. So we thought we would sell it and use the boys 5×7 Moroccan rug while we save up for a new one. I’m not sure why it bugs me so much, but me having [ a bit ] of design sense, I know that your sofa HAS to sit on the rug, otherwise it throws off the room. Not to mention it sits like… 3 feet away from the TV. Yes, I have a hate relationship with this rug and I can’t wait to get a bigger one in the new year. That being said, I seriously love how our room is turning out. I DIY’d these curtains a few weeks ago, read about it here & I painted our Restoration Hardware knock off cabinet. I’m also slowly swapping out my colorful pillows, throws and decor for more neutral pieces.
The sled in the photo is from one of our customers last year and she has grown to be very loved by us! I do plan on painting that sled white, but I’ll save that DIY for next year.

My main goal for our house is to not only make it beautiful, but super cozy. I want to have the coziest home on the block, I want people to not want to leave our home when they come over. So far, I think it’s going well because everyone who comes into my home always says how cozy it is.
So don’t judge my present wrapping skills. I’m so not talented in that department. I try hard, but they don’t look professional. This year I color coordinated all our gifts between brown wrapping paper, plaid wrapping paper and a red reindeer print!
I’m still absolutely loving my olive bins. They are my favorite piece of my living room & make it look so farmhousey.
I gotta run get some orders off & get some more gifts for a few special people. This time of the year I feel like I run around with m head cut off, especially owning our own business.. people just don’t understand how hard we try to please everyone this time of year.
I hope you all have a VERY Merry Christmas if I do not blog before Christmas. I pray Gods biggest blessings on every single one of you.
Here’s a little shot of my little family & since I don’t have each and every one of your addresses, here:
