Welcome to the blog today friends! I’ve been super lucky to have partnered with Bed Bath and Beyond Canada for three room makeovers. The Twin Room and Tween Room you can find here and here. The last of the rooms is our dining room!
This room needed a makeover but I was a bit nervous to do one as this room is SO tiny. It’s not even 8′ L and 8′ W so It’s pretty tricky to take photos in. Not only that, but I’m shooting into light ( two big glorious windows )

Since this space is so small, I wanted to pick a rug that was darker to ground the space. This Magnolia Homes rug fit the bill and honestly makes the space. I did have to cut the tassels off the ends sadly as it was too long for our tiny dining room.
The dining table and bench are from this line and we couldn’t be happier with it. It feels like a reclaimed table that has a little more shelf life to it. What I mean by this is if you’ve ever touched a real reclaimed table in stores, they are hard to wipe. They also tend to shrink or expand over time. This table has the look of a reclaimed table, but is a lot more durable.

I was super nervous to purchase this table set as our room is so small, but it works really great in this space and when we moved someday, it will fit up to eight people!

I haven’t really decorated this space for the Holiday season yet, but I threw my faux pine garland up around our light fixture and it totally cozies up the space!
I love decorating with really simple touches. I also like styling our tables and shelves with mismatched dishes.

Below I’ve linked the main pieces in this rooms you can recreate this space in your own home.

Hello!
Love your home, can I ask where the blinds are from?
Thank you so much! They’re from Blinds Galore
