Hello Friends! Can you believe ANOTHER Friday is here? I’m kind of in shock that we’ve almost been in quarantine for six weeks now. But yesterday I decided to decorate around our TV in our bedroom and I thought it would be fun to write a blog on how to decorate around a TV. Honestly, TV’s aren’t the prettiest so I’m here to share a few things I did to make it a bit prettier!
First thing is first, please know there aren’t any “rules”. I posted a mini tutorial on Tiktok and I got eaten alive because my TV wasn’t centered, the plant was covering the TV and they didn’t like how I pronounced “vases”
I gave my Instagram audience two choices:
Gallery of 3 photos over my TV or a picture ledge with 5 pictures layered. The picture ledge won out by 70% and I couldn’t be more happy with how it looks.

I do want some photos that are slightly more neutral. So the black and red photo needs to go. But right now I’m shopping my home as we’re in quarantine, so I’m quite happy with how the picture ledge looks for now.
I also like to style with vases in odd numbers of three – you’ll see I styled two vases and a set of keys in a cluster of three on the right side & on the left side I put a plant to add weight to both sides of the TV.
Then this morning I randomly got an Amazon package in the mail that said it wouldn’t be delivered until Mid-May. I love decorating with neutral books and I’ve wanted Abode for forever.
Pro Tip: Often books come with covers, if it’s too busy, usually the cover under is neutral. You can also paint book covers to make them more neutral.

I really love our black dresser. People keep asking where it is from. We got it last summer from Structube and then a month ago I painted the set black and I couldn’t be more obsessed, it made the dresser set look so much more high end and it’s nice contrast to our white walls.

Our room is SUPPPPPER teeny. It legit JUST fits a dresser, bed and two side tables. There’s about 3 feet from the end of our bed to our dresser, so it’s super hard to take photos in here. But I love the impact on the wall now. I might move the mirror over to the farthest wall by that door on the left as it does look slightly cluttered – but It looks fine for now.

I hope that gives you a bit of Inspo to decorate around your TV!
Hope you all have a lovely weekend

I love your mirror!! Where is it from?
Hey! It’s from Article
Is the full length mirror attached to the wall? I Love the mirror but have young kids that I worry if I don’t attach it it will get knocked over and broken.
Hey! It’s sadly not. I have no idea how to attach it to the wall either.
