Do you ever fill up countless shopping carts on the internet and never fully check out? No? Just me? Yep.. this is one of my hobbies. I literally hate shopping in stores. I’m talking, hate. The lights literally pour into my core and I can’t even deal with making decisions. I will run into a store if I have to, but I know exactly what I’m going in there for and I will grab it, pay, and hop back out.
Over the last year I’ve drooled over so many gorgeous pieces that I probably wont ever have because, lets face it, I either can’t have it because it’s too expensive or I can’t have it as we need to have our personal furniture on display in our home ( We build rustic furniture for a living ).
So, I decided to write a blog about my personal top favourite pieces that I dream about. This year was a really hard one with our business, money was really really really tight and I didn’t have the luxuries of spending money. We are slowly coming out of being dirt scrapping poor, but money is still tight.
So enjoy my list of my Top Farmhouse Decor, that I wish I could buy.
I feel like I’ve been dreaming over a upholstered tufted bed for years. I would die for the above one in the photo. This one is actually a killer of a deal, so maybe I’ll snag this next year.
For some reason I just reallllly want one of these to hang in my dining room. I keep seeing them everywhere and the price tag is a bit steep.
So, I had a mini one from Homesense, but it just didn’t cut it. I then was given a small 3′ real one and since my house has zero light downstairs, it died. I literally cried.
4. Bakery Sign
I’ve wanted one of these for what seems like forever, but I can’t seem to find them in Canada and on top of that, I can’t find them under 160 dollars. I so badly wish I could make one of these!
5. Moroccan Wool Shag Rug – With Tassels
This is the rug we’re saving for.. well, trying to. I’ve wanted this rug since September of 2015. I will save until someday I can afford it.
I’m waiting for these bad boys to someday show up in winners or on the clearance rack somewhere because there is no way in heck that I’m paying 50.00 per plant. I’d die for three of them though!
I actually purchased a pair of faux distressed wood lamps with my birthday money from Target in fall, and they arrived at my home both broken in thousands of pieces. I was so sad. So note to self, never settle for cheap. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Target. But these were ceramic lamps and were wrapped very poorly.
I first saw this sign on Liz Marie Galvins blog and fell in love a few years back.
So there you have it, my most envied and desired list of items that I most likely wont ever get. But it’s always nice to dream, hey?
